Civil Rights: 1 Democrats: 0
The Democrat scrub bureaucrat who violated Joe the Plumbers privacy as a sacrament of worship to Obama has resigned. This is a wild victory for your ACTUAL civil protection to speak freely against the government according to the first amendment! (There wasn’t an abortion of a live baby performed, so the ACLU was nowhere to be found, championing the PHANTOM right to “privacy” not found within our founding documents.)
For those of you not familiar, Everyman Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacker was minding his own business (as most conservatives do) when Obama waltzed up to chat with the lowly peasant class. “Joe the Plumber,” the moniker given to him later, used the opportunity to ask why Obama wants to punish success through taxes. Obama let down his guard and truthfully revealed his socialist bent about “spreading the wealth around,” releasing an embarrassing firestorm that kept the other Democrat, McCain, in the race longer than he ever deserved to be. State computers where immediately fired up, at Ohio citizens expense, to research Joe’s life for the sole reason that he made a politician reveal his true intentions, and it was embarrassing. Luckily, the tax-funded anal probe turned out negative (aside for back taxes that weren’t even previously brought to Joe’s attention) and Joe made it through with his integrity. But this served as a warning to any other conservative who may have led a less than exemplary life: If you embarrass us, we will use the full force and power of the government (that you help to fund) to DESTROY you, civil rights be DAMNED!
So the primary offender has resigned, but she said something very telling: “This decision comes after a time of pause, in which I realize that I continue to be used as a political postscript, providing a distraction from urgent state priorities." She views violating a person’s more basic civil rights secondary to what is important: “urgent state priorities.” True patriotic Americans should shudder at this mentality. We have seen this mindset before in a certain “Peoples Republic” that Reagan conservatives destroyed (over the strenuous cries of dissent from the left).
Of course the popular opinion remains that the Republicans are out to get people, despite these anti-constitutional attempts by Democrats punishing those with different thoughts than theirs. We said nothing when the political correctness storm-troopers came in and took away “impolite” speech violators, because after all, polite company doesn’t say uncomfortable things. Now, it is quickly becoming too late to speak out against the almighty government, the exact fear that our founding fathers predicted, and we are at fault for not acting sooner. These democrats are making the inquisitors of the dark ages look like permissive new agers!
At least this time we got one right. The government lackeys that tried to muzzle free political speech aren’t working at their desks currently. They should be in prison, but we have lost far too much testosterone to do what is right anymore. My fear is that they simply move from one bureaucracy to another and continue their anti patriotic attack on freedom in a different office!
