Even I thought this was a bit over the top, but to a leftist dem, nothing is after all. The quote: "Fowler said McCain had chosen a running mate " whose primary qualification seems to be that she hasn’t had an abortion.” ")The most carefully guarded secrets of the Left are out, and Sarah Palin is the knife that exposed them with the savage beauty of a wild huntress tearing out the warm heart of a moose and devouring it.
Their first secret: Don’t choose life.
And you thought “Feminism” meant a woman could choose anything!
Vitriol, hatred and loathing do not adequately describe the kind of blinding hot ‘corona of the sun’ temperature seething abhorrence the coastal Left has for Palin. Why does this poster-child for what feminism should be draw such detestation from the Left, a group which purports to guard the very citadel of feminism? Well, there are the periphery issues: First, she chooses to believe in God and is a REAL Christian, unlike the charlatan pretenders like Rev. Wright that the Left feign respect towards. Second, she chooses to believe in freedom from government largesse. Third, she chooses to be knock down gorgeous beautiful in a long hair, skirt-wearing, non-bra-burning fashion. Fourth, she chooses to shirk the elitist coastal media circus and martini party crowd. Fifth, she chooses to allow freedom of thought in the classroom (creation). Sixth, she chooses freedom of choice for school attendance (vouchers). Seventh, she chooses to support gun rights and owns and uses guns. Eighth, she chooses to be a Repugnant Repulsive Reprehensible Reprobate Unrepentant Republican. Ninth, she chooses to remain married to a REAL man (an oil worker who callously belches carbon into the stratosphere by racing snowmobiles across previously pristine wilderness!). Tenth, she chooses to believe in actual right and wrong. Eleventyeth, she arouses awe and inspiration in every patriotic heart in America, promoting genuine pride and humble appreciation for being blessed by God as the greatest nation the Earth has ever seen.
The real sin, however, is that she had the audacity to choose LIFE for her yet-to-be born son with Down Syndrome. She then unduly (per the Left’s reasoning) influenced her 17 year young daughter to NOT kill her unborn child AND to marry the father (‘shotgun style,’ as most Lefties snipe). It is bad enough to choose life, but it is unforgivable to influence others, especially minors to do likewise.
The Left believes it is fine to have choice, but ONLY so long as you choose THEIR choices. They actually hate this woman for choosing life! It is allowable to be a powerful woman in America only if you pay homage to the bloodthirsty Left’s vicious legacy of 40 million killed human unborn. Until this sacrifice to the Left’s god is made, you have no business calling yourself a feminist.
And in conclusion, by despising and reviling Palin, a ‘feminist of feminists’, the last secret of the Left is finally revealed: They are not true feminists at all, never have been, and have no business pretending to be the purveyors of strong womanhood. I rather believe that mantle would look very nice above Sarah Palin’s fireplace, just under an enormous, freshly slain moose head.
